divorce and separation are stressful times for everyone.

When spouses decide to divorce they normally experience a wide range of emotions which include a sense of loss, grief, pain, anger and failure. Court rooms may prolong this difficult time.  Mediation will reduce the duration of such a difficult period as well as the costs involved.

WHAT IS MEDIATION?

Mediation is a process which assists couples in resolving their divorce issues in a neutral, respectful, non-litigious manner.

Divorce Mediation guides you through the issues involved in a divorce proceeding so that you may may make informed decisions.  Sessions take place in private, outside of the courthouse.

Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process in which a trained, neutral third party helps both parties to negotiate a mutually satisfactory outcome. The mediator is a facilitator of the process, but is not the decision maker, arbitrator or judge.

Divorce Mediation is a specialized field requiring advanced training and expertise. Domestic Divorce Services, LLC offers specialized divorce training and over two decades of experience in the matrimonial field making it uniquely familiar with the complexities of divorce matters including marital estates, custody, parenting time, child support and spousal support.

Information from outside resources may be recommended by your mediator and utilized during the mediation process (should you choose), such as information concerning:

  legal rights;
  tax advice;
  valuations;
  appraisals;
  counseling
